The technology of lifeClipper2 is based on an “Outdoor Augmented Reality” system that was developed especially for the project. The system consists of three basic modules for tracking, presentation, and interaction.
The tracking module detects the position of the user and his line of sight.
The presentation module combines virtual objects with the real world.
The interaction module governs internal and external interaction.
The division of these three modules takes place within the hardware, the software and the functioning of the system.
